Today I'm up on the Spectrum Noir Blog with a tutorial on how to make this simple stippled background.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALYCE!!!
Today Alyce of Kit and Clowder is celebrating her birthday! This is the card I made for her. I hope she has gotten it already and that I'm not spoiling the surprise!
The image is by Yam Puff and I colored it with Spectrum Noir Markers. I used the no lines technique on this one. It's still a really tricky technique, but I'm starting to get better at it. Practice practice practice!
I have had this cupcake ribbon forever! I bought it because it was so cute and then I never used it. My daughter had it out for something she was doing and I was like Hey! That's perfect for this card too! So I finally used some of the pink cupcake ribbon.
I hope you like your card Alyce! And I hope you have a fantastic birthday!

Hello hello! Happy Friday! Today there is a new Freebie Friday image available from Scrapper's Delights. It's this super cute, Robot Gage 1. Along with the Freebie there are two more new robots being released today. Each of them is available for just $1.00.
I used the images to make these little bags for the kids. I am going to use them as chore reward bags. I have a bunch of little gears cut out, every time they do a chore or something good, they get a gear for their bag. I still need to make a bag for my other two kids, but I have three to share with you today.
I colored the robots with Spectrum Noir markers and used the Silhoutte to cut the gears and springs out of glittered cardstock.

I am so excited to be starting a weight loss challenge with my Kickboxing Girls. We're calling it the "Drop It Like It's Hot Challenge". It's going to be so great! I made this fitness journal to keep track of my at-home workouts.
I used the Saturated Canary image called "Afterburn". I colored the image with Spectrum Noir Markers and used this tutorial as inspiration for my color choices.
I painted the cover of the notebook with Gesso and then added some texture paste. Once that was all dry I sprayed the cover with some Lindy's Stamp Gang Sprays.
I matted the colored image on a piece of Glittered Cardstock and added some wood veneers and alpha stickers to finish it off.

There's a new challenge at Spectrum Noir this month. The theme is Sparkle and Bling. I made a birthday card for a friend of mine. I colored this image from Bugaboo Stamps with Spectrum Noir Markers and Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens.
For extra glitter and bling I added some stickles and rhinestones. I finished it off with some pretty patterned papers and yellow ribbon.

I am so excited to be a guest designer at Crafting By Designs for their monochromatic challenge. Since St. Patrick's Day is right around the corner I went with a monochromatic green card.
On my card I used an image from Bugaboo Stamps called JJ Calendar Months- March. This is my go to image for St. Patrick's Day. I just love it.
I colored the image with Spectrum Noir markers. I also used the clear Sparkle Pen to add some shimmer to her festive green hair but it doesn't show well in the photograph. I added some stickles to make the foam on her green beer.

Happy Freebie Friday! This week's freebie is so cute, it's called Froggy-Frog 2.
I colored the image with Spectrum Noir Markers and used some patterned papers from my stash on the card. I used my Silhouette machine to cut out the Lilies, Lily Pads and the sentiment.
The frog comes with it's hand empty so you can add anything you'd like for him to be holding. I added a little ladybug since I was going for a Spring theme and I love when the ladybugs start coming around each year. But you could put just about anything here, like a cupcake if you wanted to make a birthday card.
Visit the Scrapper's Delights Challenge Blog to see more projects from the Design Team and find out all the details on how to claim your free image.
